BEFIKRE TITLE TRACK: Ranveer Singh Follows In Shah Rukh Khan’s Footsteps in Ude Dil Befikre
The latest song from Aditya Chopra’s Befikre is out. Ude Dil Befikre sees Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor performing all kind of dares all over Europe. Plus there is a DDLJ reference
Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor are fun and fearless in the title track of YRF’s Befikre.
Just like ‘Nashe Si Chadh Gayi’ looked similar to ‘Ishq Shava’ from Yash Chopra's Jab Tak Hai Jaan, this one reminds us of Shah Rukh Khan’s opening scene in DDLJ.
The way Ranveer is seen running across the pitch with a rugby ball is quite like SRK’s intro in Aditya Chopra’s legendary directorial debut. We guess, its Aditya’s passion for rugby which is showing through in the sequences.
The song has been sung by Benny Dayal, while the music is composed by Vishal-Shekhar. The lyrics have been penned by Jaideep Sahni.
The last song from the film was ‘Nashe Si Chadh Gayi’ which also featured Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor. This song was shot on the streets of Paris and unlike ‘Ude Dil Befikre’, ‘Nashe Si Chadh Gayi’ was released with absolutely no noise on the social media. It was then revealed that the reason for the sudden drop is Ranveer Singh. The song was dropped online without any notice because Ranveer wanted it to be a surprise gift to his fans. So he tweeted a link to the song to his 3.49 million followers, without any promotions to announce its arrival.
But this one followed after a small teaser yesterday which was posted by YRF.
However, Ranveer Singh launched the trailer of his film with much hype. Hours before the release of the trailer he posted a lot of videos which he shot on the streets of Paris and even in his shower (Ranveer Singh's Crazy Shower Dance In Paris For Befikre, Oct 10).
Befikre offers a glimpse into a new-age love story, on the lines of 'No Strings Attached' brewing between the lead pair, Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor. And speculations are rife whether the storyline is similar to that of YRF’s another venture Neil and Nikki starring Uday Chopra and Tanishaa Mukerji, which released in 2005.
Ranveer-Vaani starrer Befikre has been shot across the popular locations of Paris, and you'll be surprised to know that the movie was completed in just 50 days. Directed by Aditya Chopra, Befikre will hit the theatres on December 9, 2016.
